Deranged drum & texture loops that turn logic inside out & reshape their rhythmic auras into uncooperative patterns that shuffle & convulse with respect to The Grid™.
Beats, mangled beats, mangled beats reconstructed to sound kinda not mangled, mangled beats reconstructed to sound kinda not mangled but then smeared into an atonal drone then chopped into 30 millisecond pieces & enhanced with an enveloper then sequenced using an arpeggiator blended with a simple kick & snare pattern that’s just a bit off because your 3-year-old played it & then you quantized it to septuplets rather than 8th notes.
And things similar to that. As well as a lot of stuff very different from that. Allow me to explain…
If you’re a producer or mix engineer who has worked in ANY genre of music, you understand how effective rhythmic or textural loops are when you’re searching for something to subtly give the song you’re working on some more groove or variation. This is what auxiliary percussion sections of drum kit-based music exist for. We’ve all jammed a 90’s rock song or an old hip-hop track with some goofy bongo loop running in the background that functions simply to give the beat a little more of a shuffle. Most of the time, we didn’t notice it was there because it was just that effective.
Well, this sample pack is not that. So, just imagine the opposite of that.
